Loki
Loki was one of my favorite rats out of the 10 rats I had altogether. He was one of the most affectionate, sweet rats I had the pleasure of raising. He was kept in a two-story cage lined with fleece and was given fruits & veggies and all the ratty care he needed. He stayed with his two brothers, Jude and Stanley, and three female rats: Leigha, Esme, and Piper. He bonded with Esme – they would snuggle together in their hideaway.
He was also very sweet with me; he would lay on my shoulder and give neck/ear kisses and play in my hair with his hands (they have human-like hands!!). I was very happy to have one of the photos painted, and the vet also offered me a memorial piece (picture #3) to remember him by.
I’m sorry for your loss it’s ashame how sort they live. I’ve had gerbils, mice & guinea pigs and loved them dearly.
Sorry for your loss I miss my babies so much.
God bless
Sending you prayers and healing thoughts for the loss of your rat. They really are affectionate little creatures. It’s just too sad that their lifespans aren’t longer. I too had rats and loved them dearly. Hugs
